How to Increase the Height a Minecraft Rabbit can Jump?
You can increase the height of a Jump by a Rabbit in Minecraft using the Splash Potion of Leaping. It enhances the rabbits increased jump height when it splashes on them.
Use the Splash Potion of Leaping by simply right-clicking to throw it on the rabbit.
Do rabbits Jump over Fences?
Yes, Rabbit can jump over one fence which is 1 block tall. However, if you put 2 vertical fences, the Rabbit might not be able to jump past them.
Here’s how to increase the height of the fence:
- Place 1 fence block on the ground.
- Next, select a Fence and Right-click on the fence block to place a second fence block on top of the first.
Continue Repeating this process until you find it to the satisfactory height of the fence.

- 1 Rabbit’s Foot
- Water Bottle

How to Craft Splash Potion of Leaping for Rabbit Higher Jump
Here’s a step-by-step guide to making the Leap Potion:
Step 1: Open the Brewing Stand Table
First, open your brewing stand which is used for brewing potions using a fuel source, such as Blaze Powder.
It has a three-slot ingredient rack to fill up the ingredients.
Step 2: Put Blaze Powder to Activate
Add Blaze Powder to the fuel slot located at the far left box to activate the Brewing Stand and start the brewing process.
Step 3: Add Ingredients to make this Rabbit Splash Potion of Leaping
In the Brewing Stand menu,
- Put the water bottle in one of the bottom grid
- Add the nether wart to the top grid
- Add the Rabbit’s Foot to the top grid
Step 4: Wait for the Brewing Process to Complete
Wait for it and once the Potion of Leaping brewing process is complete, the rabbit foot will disappear along with the “glug glug glug” sound.
Drag and Drop the Potion into the inventory.
How to use the Minecraft Leap Potion on Rabbit for Higher Jump
Follow these steps to use the potion on a rabbit to increase its jump:
- Find a rabbit in the Minecraft World or your Farm.
- Go near the Rabbit
- Right-click on the ground to throw the Leap potion at the rabbit.

This Potion effect will increases the rabbit’s jump height exponentially and allows it to jump higher and reach higher places.
However, it doesn’t last very long and the rabbit’s ability to jump higher will revert back to its normal state of 1 block.
