Minecraft Apples are food sources harvested from Oak and dark oak leaves.

Unlike Natural Apples, Golden Apples in Minecraft are not naturally found and you need to craft them to get one.

Step 1: Convert Gold Ore to Gold Ingots

On the Furnace

• Place Coal on the Fuel Box
• Put Gold Ores on the Input Box

Wait for it and the Gold Ingots will appear on the Result Box.

Step 2: Open 3×3 Crafting Table

Next, open up your crafting menu.

Step 3: Add Ingredients to make a Golden Apple

In the 3×3 crafting grid. To make a golden apple, place the 8 gold ingots and 1 apple according to the recipe as follows:

• Place the Apple in the 2nd Row middlebox.

How to make an Enchanted Golden Apple in Minecraft

Enchanted Golden Apple is one of the rarest items in Minecraft to get your hands on.

Unlike the regular apple which can be naturally harvested and the Golden apple which can be crafted, the enchanted Golden Apple is not craftable, nor naturally available, – you need to loot chests to acquire them.

6 Chest to get Enchanted Golden Apple

Here are a few places to find the chest which might contain our search for the item.

1. Mineshaft Chest – 1.4% Chance

This Chest has the lowest percentage chance of 1.4% to get the Apples.

Mineshaft Chest can be found in the Badlands Biomes (deserts & savannas) Caves and Mines

2. Ruined Portal Chest – 1.5% Chance

It can be found in both the nether and the overworld.

The loot in this chest is mostly golden items and you have a 1.5% chance of getting an enchanted golden apple.

3. Desert Temple Chest – 2.6% Chance

As the name suggests, this chest can be found on the exterior of the desert temple. Enter the temple and look for it in the center of the temple.

There will be a terracotta pattern of orange and blue.

Break down the terracotta blocks and you will fall down underground into a room with 4 chests.

IMPORTANT – When you break down the Blue Terracotta Pattern, there will be a trigger below for the Stone Pressure plate with TNT and if you fall on it, you will explode it and die.

So, try to avoid triggering it by not falling down straight.

You have a 2.6% Chance of finding an Enchanted Golden Apple in the Desert Temple Chest.

4. Dungeon Chest – 3.1% Chance

They usually are located next to a cave and will have a connected opening to it.

Explore caves and locate a dungeon. You might encounter some entities such as Spider, Zombie, or Skeleton.

So, beware of that.

You have a 3.1% chance of getting the apple in this chest.

5. Woodland Mansion Chest – 3.1% Chance

Tip: Trade a Woodland Explorer map to find the chest from a Cartographer Villager.

Locate and enter Woodland Mansion. You will find lots of chests in the room, some of them are empty inside and some may have items ranging from Beetroot Seeds, Bone, Bread, Diamond Chestplate, and Diamond Hoe to your precious Golden Apples.

You have a 3.1% chance of getting the apple in the Woodland chest.

6. Bastion Remnant Treasure Room Chest – 6.5% Chance

You will find the Bastion Remnant in the Nether biomes.

There will be Piglin in the nether which will become hostile if you do not wear golden armor or open the chest, breaking gold blocks.

To avoid them from getting hostile while opening the chest, place a hooper underneath the chest and open them.

You will find the treasure Bastion Remnant Treasure Room Chest at the bottom of the loot area.

You have a 6.5% chance of getting an enchanted golden apple from the chest.

Enchanted Golden Apple can be taken as an emergency healing and food source for battles. So, if you are going to a battle and you might not have the greatest advantages, having an enchanted Golden Apple might be the cheat code you need.
